As the Social Media Manager for the University of San Francisco Sport Management Program, I oversee two social media specialist as they generate leads for social media content. I am tasked with creating graphics, scheduling posts, handling communications, and posting content amongst all social media platforms. In the role my objective was to engage with prospective and current students, alumni, and faculty. Lastly, as manager I participate in weekly phone calls with staff and the social media specialists to report on the status of all social media pages.

Meanwhile at the University of San Francisco, I joined the USF Sport Marketing Association. As a part of the Executive Board, I was named the Creative Director and put in charge of graphics and all creatives. The association's aim is to foster a brighter future for the sport industry by instilling knowledge and preparation to our members through member-exclusive content. In addition to my responsibilities, I also led the social media campaign to create the foundations of the association.

Over my educational career at the University of San Francisco, many of my classes have had final projects which have tested my skills and knowledge of the course material. Below you will see some examples of the work I did with my groups. In addition to the material of the presentations, this is also where I began to find my passion for graphic designing and began learning how to make "pitch decks". The various presentations are a testament to the versatility of fields and skills which is required in pursuit of my Masters of Arts in Sport Management. 

Sports Marketing Final Project

Captain Morgan & eSports Campaign:

 

My group was tasked with creating a campaign which tied together Captain Morgan and eSports. We pitched a League of Legends tournament which incorporated the sponsor throughout the tournament utilizing the pirate theme/mascot.

Quantitive Analysis Final Project

Sports Marketing Campaign: 

 

After sorting/filtering data and analyzing data my group was tasked with creating a fan profile for the most engaged fans from 2017 & 2021. As a result we had to create a recommendation for a joint sponsorship to pitch to our client.

Economics & Finance Final Project

Adventure Club Start-Up:

 

My group was tasked with creating a start-up business idea. We looked into the financials of other like-minded applications and created a pitch for an initial investment from stockholders.

CCL & State Farm Sponsorship:

 

My group was tasked to develop a compelling sponsorship proposal to acquire a new sponsor for the CCL.  

HR & Strategic Management Final Project

What should the Pac 12 do?

 

The project focused on the strategy behind very difficult decisions. My group chose to decide on what the Pac 12 should do with USC & UCLA leaving the conference in 2024.   

Corporate Sponsorship Final Project

I was tasked with coming up with a sponsorship proposal between a property and a brand. I decided to create an initial presentation on behalf of LAFC to La Michoacana.
